The Day of the Revolution
The rain will surely wash away the blood
But it won't dry their tears
The writing on the wall may reassure them
But it won't take their fears
And I suffocate again
And wonder if they will fight
I already know the answer:
There are ones who just might
Yet eventually they'll tell
"It's not so bad..."
And they'll ignore the hatred
Which yesterday they had
And I can't breath
Die of the idea of leaving them alone
Without me the system has won
Without any contribution-
Why, "God", why does the day of my death have to be
The day of the revolution?
